We were invited to test GEMS software on Microsoft cluster platform at Beijing Technical Center. Without changing anything, GEMS can run on Microsoft cluster with a very good parallel performance.

2COMU has collaborated with Microsoft to develop an open source of GEMS Simulator, OpenGEMS, since November 2006. OpenGEMS package and source code are available to download from our website.

GEMS version 1.2 has been released. The design performance has been improved greatly.
