| An EBG structure is consisted of 6 layers of dialectic cylinders in one direction and the periodic structure in another direction, and the cylinder is infinitely long. GEMS only needs to simulate one element (6 cylinders) and the domain is truncated by the PML and PBC (periodic boundary condition).
